ReStoCh: Researching the Story of Checklists and Stories' Checklists


Stories have earmarks that distinguish them from other stories, they have plots and momentum, and these earmarks connect them to other stories, they are twists in the story. There are checklists of these earmarks, and these checklists are larger stories, and they have stories of their own. And sometimes following the relevant stress in these stories, nodes are formed in disappearing staircases connecting in all kinds of ways, and connecting stories like Russian Dolls opening to other stories in the process. It's a quantum world of stories.

Social scientist have been focusing on psycho-social phenomena as if they are facts to be scrutinized, investigated, dissected, and put under the microscope, and they over-analyze in a cocoon. Psycho-social phenomena are stories, and they find their meaning through connections with other stories, and it is that combination of stories that adds significance to the single story. So the Proof is in the Menu of Stories, not in the pudding. It is thus important to explore the larger stories in order to see how they inform the smaller stories. There is a perspective to be studied from the roots and the foundations of the checklist of stories all the way to their expansion by going up the steps of the staircase leading to that blossoming of stories. And clearly there's leverage where the staircases meet sometimes at the bottom and also at the top where they may disappear in black holes and reappear in big bangs, or where they may form new bodies of stories to be experienced as evolving endeavors of complex human behaviors. And each step of the staircase checklist of Stories is a new twist, a node where new Russian Dolls may form opening to new checklists of stories back and forth.

The steps of these staircase checklists are earmarks of the stories. There's a history of stories to be investigated, and profound meanings to be discovered when there's mindfulness and awareness of the emerging stories or of the comprehensiveness of evolving stories. It is in that emancipation of the stories that one finds enlightenment, and where breakthroughs are made possible, and applications are derived for the well being of human interactions with themselves, individually and in group, and with the world surrounding them. As deep understanding of social phenomena is constructed in the meanings of these different stories, they come together to express a string of understanding that sheds light on psycho-social phenomena. Stories have a strange way to relate to each other, unconscious, but moved by our many underlying rationales for life in bio-psycho-social and physical environments.

At the end, we are made of Stories, and the ever fleeting proofs that Psycho-Social Social Scientists are searching for, they are in the stories of our lives, the proof is not in the Pudding of  Psycho-Social Facts, but in the Menus of Psycho-Social Stories.
